Narrated: Um Kulthum bint Uqba
That she heard Allah's Apostle (SAW) saying, "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar."

Ayat of the Quran

Verse No: 21

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ ۗ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ

Who doth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah or denieth His revelations? Lo! the wrongdoers will not be successful.
